The Panthoperhis guttatus (used to be Elaphe guttata) is usually called Cornsnake. It is a colubrid which grows to 130 to 150 cm (app. 4 to 5 feet) but can grow to a maximum of 180 cm (6 feet) in length.
The cornsnake is the first species responsible for the color and pattern mutation breeding in snakes. Now there are countless combinations to be made.
Some of the morphs in my collection are:
Amber striped, hypo lavender motley, Saphron, Honey motley, Sunkissed amber, Dilute snow motley, Hypo butter motley, Ultramel anery motley, Cinder, Buff ultramel, Golddust motley, Orchid motley Strawberry snow, Coral ghost and A LOT of super cool heterozygous project animals.
Here are some older pictures of my animals, I hope that I can update then soon.
